As is the case with most finishes, the eventual look of your floor, not to mention its longevity, will depend greatly on the quality of the installation. It is thus important to use
a reputable installer and the appropriate installation method.
 
When it comes to installation, selecting a product from Okan has an obvious advantage in that it is pre-sanded and sealed thus eliminating a potentially high risk part of the installation process. You are ensured a perfect finish without any of the imperfection and irregul-arities associated with sanding and sealing on site.

Some installers merely float the solid floor, but we would not recommend that method. Installation can be done by gluing the timber directly onto the screed or by fixing it onto battens.
